Persistence that solved the real problem
“He would not let us shrug it off as a possible voltage fluctuation but started to work on finding and then fixing the problem.”
— John Snyder, Information Systems Co. (1983)

I’m an educator first: I help leaders and teams make sense of AI, automation, and digital change in plain language grounded in real operations. From there, I advise where to focus and build what actually helps.
Latest project: a flexible Education & Training Platform built for real-world learning. Create bite-sized courses for education, employee training, customer onboarding, internal playbooks— or any mix of those—without boxing yourself into one format. Plain-language lessons, quizzes, and practical content that teams can actually use. Try the live demo with the Open Learning Platform button above (or the Learn link in the top menu).
Paul Temple brings more than four decades of hands-on experience in IT, systems administration, networking, software development, and business operations. He has built companies, supported clients through complex technical problems, and earned a reputation for practical thinking, persistence, and follow-through.
Over the years, Paul has worked across everything from Unix and database systems to Windows infrastructure, Active Directory, Exchange, Hyper-V, networking, surveillance, and custom business software. He built and sold a nationwide billing and insurance system for chiropractors, and he has spent a lifetime turning messy real-world problems into working systems.
Today, through Temple Ventures, Paul is focused on helping people understand and use modern tools—especially automation, AI, websites, and other future-facing systems—without losing the grounded judgment that only comes from long experience. He is especially drawn to work that matters, including opportunities connected to the industrialization and democratization of space.
These recommendations span years, industries, and roles, but the themes are remarkably consistent: practical problem-solving, persistence, speed, and real care for the people depending on the work.

“His ingenuity, experience, and perseverance led to a solution to our printer problem with the successful result that we now have a fully operational unit.”
— W. S. Funderburk, Weaks Supply Company (1983)
“I have been very pleased with your support which has been very fast, competent and courteous.”
— Dr. J. Scott Caldwell (1989)
The goal is not to sound “AI-ready.” The goal is to become operationally ready. I translate fast-moving technology into frameworks teams can understand and act on.
Cut through noise and define what matters for your context.
Choose where to start, what to defer, and how to reduce risk.
Help teams build confidence with workflows they can sustain.
With decades in systems and operations, I help organizations modernize deliberately— protecting what works while creating room for what’s next.
When needed, I build targeted tools and digital assets that make adoption easier: lightweight automations, clear documentation flows, and focused web platforms.
